My son has also used it with his guitar and it sounds great with that too. Got this to help with speaking and presenting. It is easy to use and sounds fantastic. A little of a learning curve but even without much techo knowledge, it was easy to navigate. Would recommend product.
The unit was quick and easy to set-up. I've used the unit once at my daughter's outdoor wedding and it performed beyond my expectations. I received the Fender Passport Deluxe 150 earlier than expected and in perfect condition. Everything needed (microphone, speaker cables, etc) came with the unit except for speaker and mic stands so I used stands I already had. I had previously used a Passport 250 and was concerned the 150 would not have enough power but was very pleased with how well the 150 projected. The sound was very clear and clean and completely covered the amphitheater. The unit is relatively small and easy to carry at about half the weight of the Passport 250. I am completely satisfied with this product and recommend it highly.
The Passport Deluxe 150-watt portable sound system is fantastic. It produces more than enough sound to fill a large space. Nice piece of equipment. All you need is an iPod connected and you are all set.
It has more features than I need, but not so many as to be confusing. The system seems solidly built and has plenty of power for my needs (parties for less than 150). Good sound quality. I've rented the larger PD-200 in the past and prefere this one; the 200 has more power and features, but I don't even max out this one, which is lighter.
I use themin the locations where I teach Jazzercise. I've bought three of these systems now. They are fantastic. The sound is full and youcan also use your microphone with this system. Plug in your Ipod and microphone and you are set up and ready to teach.
